Our Journey
Our journey officially began on February 15th, but the story truly started months earlier when the idea of becoming an integral part of the Bittensor network first took shape. With a vision to contribute to the decentralized future, we embarked on the mission to launch our own subnet within this innovative ecosystem.
Raising the necessary funds to bring our vision to life was no small feat. It took months of dedication and effort, but we succeeded. We secured over 2,000 TAO, investing more than $1 million, to build a robust treasury for our subnet launch. These funds were raised through taxes collected from TATSU token trading, which not only fueled our financial resources but also helped build a strong and supportive community around our project.
The journey was not without its challenges. We faced numerous obstacles along the way, but through perseverance and the unwavering support of our community, we overcame each one. The culmination of our efforts came on July 18th, when we successfully launched the Taτsu Identity subnet on the Bittensor Testnet, live as SN192. This achievement was further solidified by the addition of a dedicated Discord channel within the official Bittensor Discord, enhancing our presence.
The launch of Taτsu Identity as Subnet 38 was a landmark moment for us, as it marked our official entry into the Bittensor network. This significant step forward was the culmination of months of preparation and dedication from our team and the Taτsu community. The launch of Subnet 38 not only signifies our commitment to the decentralized AI landscape but also positions us to make substantial contributions to the network. This achievement celebrates our transition from a concept to a tangible, impactful participant in the Bittensor ecosystem, ushering in a new chapter of growth and opportunity for Taτsu.
Despite the initial success, our registration as Subnet 38 was just the beginning of our journey. Following our deregistration from the Bittensor network, we didn't see this as a setback, but rather as a crucial learning opportunity. Since then, our team has been tirelessly refining our subnet code, taking into account the invaluable feedback and insights gained from our first experience. We are now focusing our efforts on preparing for a second attempt, determined to not only re-enter the network but to do so with a stronger, more robust subnet. This period of recalibration is geared towards enhancing the effectiveness and reliability of our identity verification solutions, ensuring that we return to the Bittensor network ready to contribute at an even greater capacity.
